  1. I am starting to feel my belly fat get extremely soft.
    Also it feels like something weird in my abdominal region and right below my chest where some visceral fat is, almost like my stomach is eating itself. Does anyone else experience this?

  2. Dr. Berg, if we have about 72 hours of sugar to run on before switching over to fat, then why do you say on other videos that it may take up to 4-6 weeks to hit a state of ketosis? THanx :P

  3. Thanks a lot for these videos. In my case what happens is I know most of what you're saying, for instance i have B5 on my shelf, but then I get fatigued, loose focus, and forget all about what I need. These videos really help.

  4. hello dr berg I have a question, I started with a protein and veggies diet like 3 months ago and these atheles recomend me to have a cheat day because being in ketosis(calorie defisit) for too long lows down your burning fat prosess. I lost weight but I cant lose my stubborn bellyfat, I look skinny fat. dr berg do you recommend a cheat day or can I replace that with vitamin b5 I think I exaggerate to much in my cheat day and instead of helping me Its slowing my fat burning. thank you very much

  5. I'm in ketosis for 2 and 1/2 months and it's really starting to irritate me waking up at 4 am every day. I can't sleep later than that. I feel fidgety and I just wanna get going but I have to lie there until 7 until everyone else wakes up!

  6. I don't mind giving up starches and fruits, but what about some vegetables that might contain small amounts of sugar like carrots and/or beets? I guess the question that I am asking is what is the maximum amount of sugar (in grams) that someone can eat in a day and still remain in ketosis?

  7. What do you do if you met your goal weight on KETO and are very active?
    After losing 40 lbs of weigh , including fat, muscle, and water. I am assuming that a 25 percentage of that weight loss is water and muscle loss which i never wanted to lose.
    How do you keep the muscle and plumpness ( hydrated skin) if your body is sort of eating itself without carbs?????? And raising carbs will bump me out of KETO and give me a fatigue feeling.

    I guess your response is going to be , eat more beef and drink more lemon water with salt? But this is hard to do. Since i think i should be eating around 300 mgs of fat a day at 200 lbs.?

  8. I have been on keto for 6 weeks, take B5, magnesium, potassium and sodium. I have the CFS diagnose. My problem is that I'm exhausted and my mood has become very bad. I've only taken the supplements for 5 days so perhaps this is the reason for the exhaustion? Any advice is highly appreciated!! Thank you for all of your wonderful and helpfull videos.

  9. Dr. Berg can you make a video on insomnia and ketosis please? Also what can you do if you have adrenal fatigue while in ketosis? I get hyper sensitive to sounds when trying to sleep and super jumpy. I tried the honey and coconut oil and it worked amazingly but I feel it stalled me. I take a lot of things to sleep and sometimes they don't work. That is when I usually quit keto, how can I get past this point. I am estrogen dominant, hypothyroid, and with fibroids, and take meds for all that. Thank you for you time. Best, Jenn

  10. I'm the complete opposite now I'm 5 months into keto… My focus and concentration is beyond words. I sleep a whole lot less and never ever get tired. Can't imagine how some people get lethargic if they're fully in ketos. Most people give up too early in my opinion and never make it through the "carb flu" period.

    just wondering if you have an opinion on carb cycling
    I'm all about low carb but i recently discovered carb cycling and it sounds great for athletes.. but I'm just wondering if doing this will defeat the benefits of low carb diets
    ie lower bp, ldl, AGEs, etc

    fyi i practice intermittent fasting
    about 20hrs per day mon-fri
    carb up saturday
    sunday carb free but no fasting

  12. Banana, lemon juice and apple cider vinegar. Will any of these three have any potential to kick me off of ketosis? I wanna make dr. Berg kale shake a regular in my diet, but I'm afraid the banana and mixed fruit ain't gonna cut it. Can anyone help me, please?

  13. Ketogenic diet isnt a high protein diet, better to say moderate protein intake as the percentages of macros are usually baseline 70% fat, 20-25% protein and 5-10% carbs. Great video though. Dr. Berg is the man

  14. @Eric Berg I'd love to hear your point of view on Raspberry Ketone Capsules. I'm conflicted since I've learned from your videos that ketosis is a result of fat burning, but would it work the other way around where the consumption of ketone supplements encourages fat to burn? My other concern is, would consuming ketones make my body less capable of producing its own ketones?

Vitamins K2,B5,B7 (intestines) and D3(UVB from sun through skin,synthesis) are made in our bodies,so there is not really need for suplements if you have enough sunlight exposure and eating fermented foods like organic raw kefir, kombucha or fermented cabagge on daily basis..
