42 Replies to “Joe Rogan On The Ketogenic Diet”

  1. Doubt it's a coincidence that this trio of balding baldcels are all significantly bald and follow/preach the same nonsense diet. But since most of the content in this diet triggers the highest release of dopamine in your brain, it doesn't surprise me in the very least that they vehemently advocate and stick to this meme diet like its some kind of masculine gospel.

I feel sorry for their gold-digging wives.

  2. It's funny how we have essential amino acids (protein) and essential fatty acids (fat) but nothing essential from carbohydrates. Essential as in we need these from food because our bodies cannot produce them on it's own. Keto for life.

  3. Sugar is a drug. Consumers will continue to buy all the shit food from the major corporations and be dependent on doctors and prescription drugs as long as they follow the standard American diet (SAD)

  4. I try to reintroduce carbs after 3 years without them but I keep getting serious depression, anxiety and insomnia everytime I try to get on them. Why on earth do I have problem digesting carbs now?? I'm desperate for a solution. Thanks!

  5. Speaking with my tinfoil hat on… I think that the reason why Keto gets so much bad press is because you are getting rid of that addiction to sugar. That addiction to sugar is one of the ways that they can control us. It's one of the reasons why crappy food is so cheap and non-engineered food straight from the earth is expensive.

  6. Soda and Starbucks have too much sugar in their drinks……………
Food should not be bad for you…… processed food has too much (trans) fat, salt, sugar and additives in them making them unhealthy. People need to go to their favorite food processors website, click on the CONTACT link and send them an email asking them to reduce the amount of fat, salt, SUGAR and ADDITIVES in the foods they produce. Their common answer is that they are producing what the customers want. You have to let them know that consumers want healthier food choices with less salt, fat, SUGAR and ADDITIVES in them. It only takes a minute to send them an email, tweet, call or text. Food should not be bad for you. There is an obesity epidemic leading to increases in heart disease, high blood pressure and cancer.
Do something — make a difference

  7. McDonalds and other fast food restaurants need to do more to make the food they sell healthier by reducing the fat, salt, sugar and additives in them. They should also pay their employees enough so that they are not below the poverty level and need to apply for government assistance to survive. These companies need to make more effort to take care of their customers health and employees well being. More advertising is not needed. Better (healthier) products are.
Send an email to their customer service department asking for healthier food products.

  8. The mental clarity while in Ketosis is great, I so enjoy ketosis. The problem is it's so hard to stay in ketosis due to the fact that you are taking in so little carbs. Also, you have to be careful with electrolytes as your kidneys really turn loose of the salt and water. LOVE ketosis…

  9. cut the fat by cutting the dairy and sugar out.And it wouldnt hurt to cut way back on grains.Like a tortilla worth per day is alot to process.7 colors of veggies per day and a protein source.Fish, free range chicken and nut butters.Thats the way to go.Small steady portions to keep the engine burning the fuel. Its really just this simple.Love the podcast Joe!

  10. Hey Joe read the book "Good Calories, Bad Calories" there it's explained that high fat diet was around for a long time and the low fat one got accepted without scientific community consensus.

  11. Dude keto sucks i tried it for 3 and a half weeks i was getting headaches lost a shit ton of muscle mass no energy to workout, i looked flat. Idk what all the hype is about, fuck that shit, never again.

  12. Oh dear Joe, you have forsaken the first rule about Keto (You don't talk about Keto) let all the brainwashed carb-eating zombies struggle with loosing weight and doing cardio until they drop dead and fat. You and me can become gods eating bacon and lifting weights because we know better, give em a couple of decades until this becomes mainstream.

  13. Ketogenic diet is not for everybody, google "BBC Horizon Sugar v Fat" and watch this documentary, they take 2 twins and put one on high fat and the other on high carbs and see for your self the real scientific results instead of listening to this bro knowledge that these guys speak.. in the end the one on high fat is closer to being a diabetic than the one eating 600grams of carbs a day..
