  1. How to lose weight: Stop obsessing on diet and get a life. When you are busy giving meaning to your existence (in whatever way you want to) you'll have no time or desire to eat all the time.

  2. I started this lifestyle last month on Nov13, 2016 after watching this video of Dr Westman. I weighed 76.5kg at that point and now have lost 4.5kg in 5 weeks so far. That's almost 1kg per week, it's scary good. Now at 72.0kg when I checked yesterday, Dec 19, 2016. My fat belly was noticeably the first to go.  Quite challenging to live this lifestyle here in the Philippines since all the viands here are eaten with rice! Difficult at first but as Dr Westman said, the hunger goes away. I find that I don't crave for sugar and rice as much. The best thing is I get to eat chicharones! I never thought I could live without rice! Thanks Dr. Westman! You are a life saver.

  3. I am doing Keto now and have been since beginning of April and have lost a little over 60 lbs. Best thing i have done for myself. I have done other diets like Weight Watchers a few times and found this way of eating really works good for me. This is the only so called diet that has worked good for me and the longest i've ever stuck to any healthy kind of eating. It has also lowered my A1C from a 6.0 to a 5.3 and my cholesterol is fine too. I urge any diabetic to try this way of eating. You gotta at least give it a month trial and try try not to cheat other wise it won't work to your advantage.

  4. Starch is a requirement for a healthy gut-bacteria biome (probiotic).
    Anyone who removes starch is missing the bigger picture and killing the good bacteria in their gut.
    A healthy gut-bacteria makes you lose weight with little effort.
    Take care of your gut bacteria and you will lose weight.

  5. You skipped the fact that the insulin doesn't go high if you are not eating fat, (meat, avocados, durians, nuts). Humans are not designed to eat fat. We are greens, fruits and few grains eater. People get fat because they eat too much of fat with their grains, the body cannot handle grains sugar and fat at the same time. Meat raises your insulin allot when eaten with grains. Eating no fat or eating only fat are the way to go. But for cancer protection, earth and animals, plant eating is way better.

  6. Very good videos. But I just looked at Linda's Low Carb site and I see she uses Splenda. This is a terrible sweetener. Poisonous. Been banned in many places. Stevia is is much better and safe.

  8. how to do this diet when you have no gallbladder to digest fat? I was on this diet for 3-4 weeks and couldn't stay on it due to nausea and inability to digest fat. HELP!

  9. I try to reintroduce carbs after 3 years without them but I keep getting horrible insomnia everytime I try to get on them. Why on earth do I have problem digesting carbs now?? I'm desperate for a solution. Thanks!

  10. The diet he advocates is dangerous, irresponsible and deadly. At first I was merely perturbed by what he advises but now, I have a truly deep hatred for him. He advocates free consumption of meat, cheese, fish, chicken, eggs and cream. Literally ALL these foods will kill you faster than anything else! WHAT is he talking about!?!? It's inexcusable how he's allowed to violate his Hippocratic oath. Half these people in front of him are probably dead from heart attacks now.

    Can he really believe what he says? Amazing.

  11. HELP!I have been on Keto for 3 mo now. I find it to be very satisfying and my sweet tooth is almost completely gone.My energy level is SO MUCH Better too.. I have decided to do Keto for health reasons but certainly need to lose some weight. I started at 170 lbs and am now at 160 which I feel is pretty good for being pretty inactive. I am 53 yrs old 5"6" 31.8% body fat (at start), very inactive due to arthritis but I do try to ride my bike 1 mile 3x-4x/week. I have had both hips replaced and I am facing spinal surgery in the future(hopefully distant) for stenosis L4-S1 aka I HAVE PAIN. mostly with and after activity. I have some atrophy and have extreme muscle/joint pain 1-2 days after exercise requiring 1-2 days recovery. With all this said, I have not only hit a wall with weight loss but I had bloodwork done last week and my cholesterol has gone UP! Prev chol 211. current 241 Trig prev. 56 current 75 HDL prev 67 current 68, LDL prev 133 current 158. This is terrible and I dont know what to do! I feel I can increase my exercising to daily bike rides and figured my marcos (which I had not prev done) at: 1386 Calories 112 gr fat
    75 gr Protein and sticking with 20 gr Carbs. After 2 weeks I have not loss any weight. I am doing a pretty good job at staying within these ranges. Sometimes my calories are low and protein low Carbs a little high somedays but never above 30gr
    fat is between 115- 130gr so I will lower this. Do you feel this plan is good or should I adjust it even more.
    Thank you for any help you have to offer.

  12. Thought you couldn't have green beans ( high carb ) guess not ….I still won't eat it . I stopped eating manyyyyyy foods before I ever knew ….keto …exist …..Never heard of it ……I've heard of Atkins , I would never go on ANY DIET . It's not a diet ……….It's a Life Style Change !!!!  I been on keto aka LCHF for 10 months .I am strict to what I eat for the last 3 1/2 years because I had …"IBS" since I stopped eating many processed foods years ago , I know longer have "IBS " . I am thrilled and very happy , I've more energy . And I lost 70 pounds , a little more to go and I'll be at my goal weight ………I will always eat ….LCHF / Keto ….forever !!!!

    Generally what happens when you eat too much fat and your bile comes up your throat.
    Fad diet advice telling fat people to eat fat. Atkins had a heart attack. This guys in it for the money too imho
