Eating Keto on a Budget | We Eat a Keto Diet for 5 Days on $5 Dollars a Day | Day of Eating Video

A lot of people have been asking us to put together a meal plan for starting keto…so here it is! If you haven’t checked out the first 2 videos on this series be sure to do that, as it gives some info on the meals we have featured in this day of eating. This video is all about eating keto on a budget. We limit ourselves to $5 a day for food and this is an example day of eating keto on a budget of $5. At first glance that might seem like an impossible mission, especially on a keto diet. We found it to be surprisingly easy with the help of some deals at the local super market and a little bit of planning. Eating keto on a budget is totally doable and actually restricts you to only shopping for essentials, which can be good for those people just getting started on a ketogenic diet, even if budget isn’t a concern. We will be releasing subsequent videos in this series. We have 1 video that takes you through our $5 a day grocery haul, and another that shows how to prep everything we got at the grocery store.     I just started keto diet (Day 2), I have a silly question for you. When you weigh the food (let's say chicken or beef), do you always use cooked meat?

  5. I have a 2egg omelette with mushrooms and red peppers and cheese cooked in butter. Usually skip lunch and then 4 oz meat green salad, avocado and a tomato. That is 58g of protein(way too much) so can you give me some breakfast ideas to reduce my protein so I can have no more than 20-25g of protein per day?

  8. So basically you're eating processed meat.. I'm out. …Wait.. How did you boil those eggs? Did you boil them on low heat for around an hour or did you just boil the fuck out of them, quickly. If it's the latter.. Bad news.. You just destroyed the eggs protein. Also, I see you're not using the shell.. That's wasted calcium.

    I see you're cooking vegetables with a high temperature.. Well guess what.You just destroyed the vitamin C in that Cauliflower and Broccoli. So you ate.. Nothing..

    This is the problem with people, they see something that works, but have NO IDEA why it works. >.> Fucking ignorance.
