  1. My husband and I do a one to one diet that we found on darebee.com (it is an amazing site if you want fun exercises and really neat meal plans that are free). On day one you have low low carbs and the next day you can have more carbs (however you must refrain from sweets until day 7). It has been working for us so far and we have lost a total of 30lbs in two weeks! We have tried Keto in the past and it worked really well but I couldn't sustain because I DO NOT eat fish or fungus(lol)! However, if you need some really good resources we found that cavemanketo.com, wickedstuffed.com, ketokarma (YouTube), healthfulpursuit (YouTube), and fatadaptedathlete (Youtube) are all full of good meal ideas and interesting videos on how Keto works with your body.   2. Keto will kill you. Not only will it damage your kidneys, everything you are eating is carcinogenic. My boss did it and ended up with terminal breast cancer.

  3. if you are having more than 25g of carbs I wouldn't call what you are doing keto, I would just say that it's "lol carb" as to not confuse people looking into the keto diet. I did keto for 1 1/2 yrs în 2009 and lost 130lbs. I kept it off for 4 yrs and now am back to doing it again.
    Also for your body to start to use fat for fuel, you have to be in ketosis for 2 weeks for it to start to change. so a couple days wouldn't start that change yet.
    Not of to be negative about anything, I love your channel and your videos :)

  4. I am doing a regular diet, portion controlled, vegetables with proteins, and the only carbs I am eating are two slices of whole wheat bread, one for breakfast, and another at mid afternoon. The thing that they gave me to eat that has helped me a lot, is before lunch and dinner one cup of a pumpkin soup, which I make for the week, with three and a half liters of water, 1 kg. And a half of pumpkin meat, two onions and a couple of pieces of celery, salt and pepper, and whatever powder seasoning you like. This has helped me very much and I have lost weight.

  5. Hi Rosalee, Dieting is so frustrating isn't it? It's a constant battle to keep our bodies dropping pounds, picking the right things to eat and when to eat to it ect. You and your hubby may need to be on different diets bc what works for one won't work for another, as your finding out. it's hard when your budget is tight, but maybe you can still prepare similar meals just tweaking his to fit keto.
    To help with the constipation pick up a box of Smooth Move tea from your grocery store. Works like a charm. :)

I have been thinking about trying Keto lately and it seems very tricky balancing the right amount of fat, protein, carbs. sounds complicated…Anyway just loving your videos. :)

  7. I'm so glad that you are doing better! Also you look extra gorgeous in this video! I've been debating on doing Keto so this video is super helpful even though I'm still wondering if I should do it or not because I've been steadily losing weight. I'm 1.2 lbs from my first major goal of 220lbs and I've been documenting it as well. You were one of my major inspirations for documenting it! So thank you for that!

  8. hey if your trying to get into protein then u should try premier protein shakes .. I get the chocolate kind and I cut up bananas and freeze them and blend the shake with the frozen banana and peanut butter… and when I say it's amazing it's amazing.. it's like drinking a milkshake without the guilt… ima try out the other flavors and if u won't I can share if those are worth buying ..
